Jan Thrapp joined Barton Muhammad Search in 2024 as an Executive Search Consultant dedicated to identifying and attracting top-tier executive leaders for the firm’s consumer-facing clients. With a decade of progressive experience from global executive search firms Odgers Berndtson and Korn Ferry, Jan has successfully placed senior executives across numerous industries and functions for public, private, Fortune 500 companies, and private equity-backed firms, including leaders in evolving and emerging industries.

Prior to her transition into the search industry, Jan worked at a boutique management and strategy consulting firm focused on highly targeted projects for the most senior executives and Boards of Directors.

Jan is an active member of multiple area non-profits, including Lifeline Animal Services, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta where she has been named Match of the Year in 2024.

Jan received her B.S. in Sociology from Kennesaw State University, with dual concentrations in Social and Organizational Change, and Cultural Diversity Studies.
